#LOCA – Leave Our Children Alone.

Before You Inject Your Child

#LOCA Teddy Bear Project

One featured campain for #LOCA is the teddy bear project. This is a silent statement using teddy bears or soft toys to represent young children, making a statement. It works like this:

1. Find a used bear, doll or stuffed animal that has been loved (e.g. thrift stores, op-shops). Alternatively use a cardboard cutout, and get creative.

2. Attach a tag to it, stating “Leave Our Children Alone #LOCA” (see printable resources below)

3. Tie them to trees, structures, leave them outside public buildings, libraries, parks, government offices, anywhere where they will raise awareness.

4. Take a photo, upload to social media with the #LOCA hashtag

5. “Rinse & Repeat,” often. Tell your friends, tag them on social media, spread the word.
